Qing Travels: Zambales Adventure

Yay for another summer adventure! I am so happy to share the beauty of Zambales beach. This is my second time to spend summer in Iba, Zambales, the first time was back in my high school days. It is a 5 hours bus ride from Pampanga but it is worth the time. Also, you will have the best bus ride ever because of the mesmerizing and Instagram-friendly scenery along the road. It's like mountain meets the blue clear sky. I recommend riding an ordinary bus so you can feel to be like commoners and I am sure you will enjoy it! First stop is Olongapo City *1 and a half hour ride from Pampanga*, from Subic Olongapo you will ride another bus *Subic to Iba*. Enjoy the ride!

After 3 and a half hours, touchdown Iba, Zambales! But first, brunch! *here is a typical rural brunch* Zambales is known from its fresh sea foods, we cooked calamares, galunggong and monggo. You gotta have that fully charged energy.

It rains in the afternoon that is why it is gloomy and the waves are perfect for surfing. We stayed at a common house where my friends are staying so the house is free, entrance is also freeeeee...

Dinner is a boodle fight though I didn't capture what we ate. *Haha!* Then, our bonfire is the highlight of the trip! We had an amazing night, drink some ice cold beer, eat and tell stories for a good laugh. I love my friends! The next day, we went snorkeling and ride a boat. Here is what a Zambales morning looks like. How I wish I will always wake up with this ocean meets sky scenery.

After lunch, we headed home and come back to reality. *sob* Its hard to say goodbye to Zambales but I will never forget this trip! I will also definitely come back! How's your summer adventure?
